Our Story

Dish Surfboards was founded in May 2024 with the vision of making surfboards the right way. Doing away with toxic foams and plastics and turning towards responsibly sourced recycled materials, we create high-performance boards without the %$#@ materials found in the modern surfboard. Using the money and recycled wine corks from where he worked as a dishwasher, Kyle created the first Dish Surfboard: The Vino. Fast forward one year, and we are incredibly proud to announce we recently received a research grant from Northeastern University to support our journey of prototype development!!

But this journey is about more than just making surfboards. Here is the DISH WISH:

We believe that it is imperative to not only create products with minimal environmental impact but also support initiatives that take action to ensure a better future for all. This is why we promise to donate 75% of profits to organizations promoting environmental action, as well as those providing opportunities to underprivileged youth around the world.

It’s more than surfing.
